Dr. Priscilla Reyes
Medical Doctor, Nutritional Coach, CEO, President
Dr. Priscilla Reyes is a board certified physician and a certified nutrition coach with a deep commitment to diabetes care in our El Paso border community. After witnessing the disease’s toll throughout her career, she launched Paso a Paso Diabetes Initiative to deliver accessible, culturally tailored care. Her motivation for change began when she helped her mother-in-law achieve diabetes remission after 10 years on medication, fueling her passion for long-term, sustainable results.

Anthony Castanares
Phd, Secretary, Treasurer
As a native El Pasoan, I have personally witnessed the devastating effects of diabetes in my family and in our community. I was raised to believe that medication and prescription drugs we're the only real response to such a devastating condition. However, through the Paso a Paso initiative I have witnessed a truly transformational shift in how diabetes is managed, addressed, and mitigated in people's lives. Knowledge is power, and that is the cornerstone behind the Paso a Paso initiative - knowledge. I am proud to be a founding board member behindthis transformative community effort.

My goal is to empower individuals with knowledge and resources to improve their health outcomes and overall quality of life.

Christopher L. Perez
Pharm.D.
I joined the Paso a Paso Diabetes Initiative because I recognize the urgent need to address the rising rates of diabetes in our community. This initiative plays a critical role in advancing prevention, education, and access to care for those most at risk, and I am proud to be part of a mission that empowers individuals to take control of their health.
